Numerical Simulation of Explosive Cook-off at Different Heating Rate
In order to investigate thermal response characters of explosives at different cook-off environment. A thermal reaction model for TNT explosive was established. The numerical simulations of TNT cook- off at different heating rate were conducted by a hydrodynamic code. The interior temperature, ignition temperature and ignition time of explosives were given. The results indicate that cook-off reaction of TNT explosive is affected strongly by the external heating rate. The ignition temperature, ignition time and ignition place of TNT explosive are different at different heating rate.
