Numerical Simulations of Damage Effects for Anti-Runway Penetrating-Exploding Submunition
Numerical simulations of damage effects for anti- runway penetrating-exploding submunition using AUTODYN-2D hydrocode are presented. Simulations based the damage behavior of the penetration precursor- follow explosion to the runway are obtained. The influences of both the bursting positions and subbase materials on the damage to the runway are analyzed and discussed. The damage data including explosion crater radius and damage area for different bursting positions and subbase materials are obtained.
