Numerical Calculation for Influence of Environmental Inductive Electric Current on Initial Explosive Energy of Hot-Bridge Electric Detonator
The initial explosive in hot-bridge electric detonator plays an decisive part in ignition of the main explosive in detonator and the explosive in warhead. A kind of hot-bridge electric detonator was selected and the thermal analysis numerical calculation was carried out for researching the influence of environmental inductive electric current on the change of initial explosive in the detonator. The mathematical and physical model were set up for thermal analysis combined with the decomposition and exothermic rule of the initial explosive. The energy changes of initial explosive functioned by different electric current were calculated based on the model. The decomposition of initial explosive can be accelerated and the accidental fire for electric detonator can take place if the electric current that is more than 0.09 A. The delayed fire for electric detonator can take place if the residual energy of initial explosive is more than 75% and the misfire for electric detonator can take place if the residual energyof initial explosive is less than 75%.
