Study on UV-Fenton Process in Degradation of Unsymmetrical Dimethyl Hydrazine (UDMH) Wastewater

The degradation effects of UDMH wastewater by UV- Fenton process was studied. The optimum condition is obtained: H2O2 dosage is 1.5 times of the Theoretical Quantity(Qth ), the molar rate of Fe2+ to H2O2 is 1: 20,the reaction time is 45min, pH is about 3.5.Under this condition ,the UDMH degradation rate is over 99%, the COD degradation rate can reach 94.8%.
