Key Technology for Temperature Control and Anti-crack for Longtan RCC Dam
In addition to the routine temperature control measures for Longtan RCC dam, the reasonable concrete mixing ratio and raw materials have been adopted, by selecting reasonable dam section length, taking the following measures by cooling by sections based on the temperature control calculation results, placing anti-crack reinforcement grid on the upstream section, and changing the surface situation by using new-style jetting machine, to solve the problems of the rolled compacted concretes temperature control and cracks. So far the project construction has been proceeded, no harmful cracks have been found which brings some experience for the construction of high RCC dam.
