RCC Field Water Pressure Test and Permeability Research

This paper from the point of view of water pressure test data, analyzes and recognizes the permeability characteristics and the statistical distribution law of various concrete and RCC with different contents of cementitious material by means of mathematical statistics, taking the results of the field water pressure tests of the 200m-high Longtan RCC dam during construction as the main basic data, with combination of the field water pressure test data of such RCC dams as Jiangya, Dachaoshan and etc. It also studies the methods of using the field water pressure test results to determine and inversely analize the comprehensive coefficient of permeability of various dam parts, so as to provide a method and basis for determining the calculation for the comprehensive coefficient, which could generally represent the whole actual situation of the dam body for calculation and analysis of seepage of RCC dams.
