Major Technical Problems in Jinanqiao Hydropower Project
Jinanqiao hydropower project which is mainly on electricity generation locates in Lijiang city of Yunnan Province. In the project area, geologic and photographic condition is complicated and four tuff regions are distributed at dam foundation, joint fissure and compressive faces are quite developed. The dam is an RCC gravity type with the maximum height of 160m, seismic intensity is VIII, and corresponding seismic peak motion acceleration is 0. 3995g with great difficulties in design. This article discusses layout of components and design of major structure as well as study conclusion of earthquake resisting problems.
