Temperature-Control Design and Statistics and Analysis of Monitoring Data of Longtan High RCC Dam
The Longtan dam highest RCC gravity dam under construction and its work quantity also ranks the first is the world. The dam construction is characterized by tight schedule and all-year-round continuous construction in a hot and rainy climate. To prevent the dam body from harmful cracks and ensure the project quality and construction schedule, proper temperature-control standards must be applied and corresponding crack-control measures be taken. This paper presents the major results of a special- topic study of concrete temperature control of the Longtan dam in respects of temperature-control standards and measures as well as the results of statistics and analysis of the relevent site monitoring data.
