Simulation Analysis of temperature Stress in RCC Gravity Dam Based on Feedback Information of On-site Construction
During the simulated calculation of dam concrete, the correctness of concrete characteristic parameters will seriously affect the reliability of numerical calculating result. The real behavior of the thermal stress is hard to correctly master. By referencing the observed temperature, stress and climate data of Wudu RCC Gravity Dam project, inversion analysis of the concrete thermodynamics parameters is conducted by adopting optimized genetic algorithm. The results show that, concrete characteristic parameters obtained from the inversion can preferably reflect the practical situations of the project. Based on this, numerical simulation of the whole water filling process of the dam face foundation ditch in flood season is carried out. According to the simulation results, a series of optimized temperature control and crack prevention schemes, such as curing with varying temperature and delaminated impounding scheme, are put forward. This guarantees the safety of this project in flooding season.
