Construction of Full Section Roller Compacted Concrete Gravity Dam on Guizhou Suofengying Hydropower Project
Suofengying hydropower station is located on the Liuguang reach of Wujiang River, the boundary of Xiuwen County and Qianxi County of Guizhou province, China. It is the third cascade power plant following the Hongjiadu hydropower station on Mainstream of Wujiang River. The dam is a full section RCC dam with a maximum height of 115. 8m. According to Suofengying project features, advanced technology of domestic RCC construction has been completely applied. Scientific and rational construction technical measures have been worked out, and concrete warehousing, temperature control, mixing MgO in full section and other aspects have been developed. It is a bold attempt to bury PVC pipe with cool water to reduce inside and outside temperature difference of concrete for summer RCC construction. This paper introduces construction technology of Suofengying full section roller compacted concrete dam in detail.
