Operation of RCC Dam in Yantan Hydropower Station
RCC dams of Yantan Hydropower Station were the first RCC dam higher than 100m which was designed, constructed. and operated in China. The design technology of the silver wrapped by gold impermeable type was brought to a new level for the RCC dams, and several technologies achieving advanced level in the world at that time were created. A new technical world record of pouring 10,619m3 concrete in one day was set. The project had good quality of construction. Observation data of 15 years show that the RCC dams are under good working conditions.
