Dynamic Simulation of Construction Process for Longkaikou RCC Gravity Dam

Taken the roller compacted concrete gravity dam of Longkaikou hydropower station as the main study case, the dynamic characteristics of concrete transportation, blocks planning and influences from different kinds of concrete are systematically analyzed, then a dynamic simulation model of system behaviour is set up. So far as the model is concerned, important considerations are taken into account, which are includes the technical process, resources constriction and system characteristics, as well as boundary conditions of diversion planning, dam structure, distribution of concrete subzones, temperature control measures during construction process, etc. According to the results of simulation, plenty of information about the constuction process is available to engineers and decision makers.
