Construction Technology of RCC Dam Temperature Control for Suofengying Hydropower Project

In order to achieve the whole year consecutive and balanced construction, shorten construction period and make the project bring benefit ahead of schedule for Suofengying project, the eight-nine joint venture of Guizhou Suofengying project conducted systematic of researching on temperature control technology of RCC pouring in high-temperature seasons. New technology is adopted for RCC temperature control, which is a breakthrough of traditional RCC temperature controlling concept. Large-scale consecutive RCC pouring is successfully implemented in high-temperature season, and temperature cracks do not occur in dam. A record of single block with a continuous rise up to 31. 4m in the main dam was set up, which makes the project construction ahead of four months on key line. The project gained benefit ahead of schedule.
