OPTIMIZATION DESIGN OF 24M REACTIVE POWDER CONCRETE RAILWAY T-BEAM
One new ultimate bearing capacity calculation mode, the RPC nonlinear mode, is presented to make full use of the perfect tensile strength of RPC. Limited by the RPC nonlinear mode, the crack is not allowed in RPC structures. The crack resistance and the durability are improved. Based on the RPC nonlinear mode, the RPC bridge optimization method is introduced with the constraints of the code and a basic optimization section is assumed. One 24m railway T-beam is optimized with height to span ratio of 1/10, 1/12, 1/14 and 1/16. The optimized results show that the basic dimension of the T-beam can satisfy the requirements of the code with height to span ratio of 1/10, 1/12 and 1/14. However, the dimension for the beam which height to span ratio is 1/16 is increased because of the limit of the rigidity. It is useful for the RPC bridge design methods.
