FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS ABOUT PILE LONG EFFECTING TO BEARING PERFORMANCE OF SUPER-LONG PILE
For making clear how pile length of super-long affect bearing performance, employing finite element method, defining a new method of dealing with contact surface between pile and soil, pile long effecting is analyzed in detail and some conclusion is obtained: Increasing pile length of pile would increase bearing capacity of single pile in a certain extent. But ratio of efficiency to cost decreases rapidly if the pile length exceeds one certain value. Besides, compression of pile body cant be neglected and it increases more rapidly than pile length increases. Deep effect of pile tip is evident, that is to say, increasing pile length can improve bearing capacity of pile tip.
