INTEGRATION OF REAL-TIME STRUCTURAL HEALTH MONITORING SYSTEM BASED ON VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT TECHNOLOGY
Firstly, this paper simply introduced the necessity of structural heath monitoring system integration and stage of its development. Secondly, the characteristics of virtual instrument technology and the necessity of its application in the field of structural health monitoring were discussed in this paper. Thirdly, a structural health monitoring system with a large number of multi-type sensors which based on virtual instrument was established. Finally, the automatic monitoring system for large span complex space truss structures under wind-exciting with finite sensors was designed in detail. Especially, this paper researched three key technologies to integrate multi-sensors and process data. The first was how to establish a distributed sampling system when there are many sensors and while sampling instruments have different communication interfaces and communication protocols. The second was how to apply database management system to manage the mass data by sampling and processing. The third was data simultaneous techniques in the distributed sampling system.
