STRESS ANALYSIS OF BRIDGE DECK PAVEMENT DUE TO SHRINKAGE AND CREEP OF THE GIRDER AND TEMPERATURE VARIATION
This paper researches the stress analysis method and stress characteristics of the deck pavement due to shrinkage and creep of the main beam and temperature variation. The changes of the whole and partial temperature are used to simulate annual and round- the-clock temperature differences, respectively. The method of temperature decrease is utilized to simulate shrinkage of the main beam, and the creep coefficients are incorporated into the fitting of an exponential function to establish the recursion equation. By means of an initial strain method, the creep deformation values of the main beam are calculated. The software Mathematica is used-to fit the deflection curve of the main beam. Some calculation formulae of deck pavement stress and the inter-layer shearing stress between the deck pavement and the main beam are deduced by the equilibrium condition of the pavement micro segment and deflection curve differential equation.
