Members at the Tennessee Bridge Research Laboratory (TBRL) at the University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK) are actively involved in the research area of accelerating renewal of highway bridges they are working on applying the high-performance structural materials and developing new systems in order to better characterize their properties and optimize their use, and develop efficient design and construction systems, standards and details.
