THE VIBRATION MEASUREMENT AND ANALYSIS IN THE ROOM OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDING CAUSED BY VEHICLES
The influence due to the environment vibrations caused by road traffic has increased considerably. Traffic-induced vibrations might affect the normal operation of precise instruments and residents comfort. Poor road surface conditions, high speed and heavy freight vehicles can lead to rather large vibrations of buildings anear roads. This paper introduces an example to discuss the vibrations of buildings. First, find out the source that causes to the vibration of residents buildings. Second, measure the value of building vibrations. The measured results show that the environment vibrations of the traffic load are out of the residential conditions according to IS02631-2. At last, give some suggestions to reduce the building vibrations.
