A CASE STUDY ON THE SETTLEMENT DEFORMATION OF THE METRO TUNNEL STRUCTURE WHEN CROSSED BY A TUNNEL OR THERMAL SUPPLY

According to the monitoring data of metro line l crossed by a mining thermal tunnel in shallow depth, characteristic of the metro tunnels settlement deformation was summarized. It was found that: A small differential settlement deformation which was only about 0.15mm existed between the two sides of the expansion joint; Along with excavation, settlement deformation of the metro tunnel varied as sagging firstly, then heaving later and sagging a little again in the end; There was more than percent 50 of the final settlement deformation occurred in the phase before new constructed tunnels primary support been finished. Settlement deformation of the metro tunnel would be steady about days later after the crossing engineering completed.
