SIMULATION TESTING ON RAILWAY TRANSPORTATION OF RUSSIA-SUPPLIED NUCLEAR FUEL SUBASSEMBLY FOR TIANWAN NUCLEAR POWER
This paper mainly focused on a simulation test for railway transportation of nuclear fuel subassembly in an actual railway line with actual vehicle under complicated conditions. The test included vibration acceleration measurements and state observations and records of the nuclear fuel subassemblys packages and the vehicles during transportation, etc. The vibration accelerations were measured by full- automatic data-acquisition and analysis system, the states of the freight packages were observed manually with the help of steel-ruler to know their locations and displacements; operating situations of the tested vehicles were tested and record continuously during the whole course by GPS receiver. The results of the test indicated that the value of vibration accelerations of the freight packages are smaller than the maximum allowable value with certain safety margin left; the values of maximum transverse and longitudinal displacements of the stimulant subassembly are also within the range of allowance and all the reinforcement assembly are in good condition.
