The Evolvement of Shanghai Industry Cluster and Inspiration to Other Districts of China

摘要：

The economic development all over the world indicates that industry cluster is an inevitable stage during the industrialization course. But in developing countries, especially undeveloped districts of developing countries, spontaneous industry clusters are scarce. In this paper, Shanghais industry development which characterized by geographical concentration, industry agglomeration and then elementary industry cluster is investigated, and we find that the critical factors for Shanghais industry clusters are governments support, the promotion of industry associations and multinational corporations.
