An Analysis on the Effect and Functional Principle of Shadowboxing Exercise to Human Mood
Psychological theory was used to analyze the effect and principle of shadowboxing and the effect on human mood and it was found that human mood may be enhanced as a result of the following benefits of regular practice of Taiji. A: Organism feedback is ongoing with regular practice. B: A relaxed and free feeling after practice. C: Taiji practice maintains and even enhances the function and performance of the nervous system with regular practice. D: Feelings of depression are significantly reduced as a result of the physical and mental exercise gained by regular practice of the movements and breathing employed by the various movements in the Taiji exercises. E: The concentration and physical exertion that is used in Taiji has the effect of controlling the temperament of individuals who practice regularly.
