Logistics Capability and its Grey Assessment Model

摘要：

The resource-based theory of the firm views logistics capabilities as an intermediate variable linking logistics resources to firm performance. In this study, based on the critical review on related literatures, a definition and constructs of logistics capability is provided, which is necessary and important to identify the indicators for measuring logistics’ capability. Then, we build up an improved Grey assessment model of logistics capability, and a quantitative analysis of logistics capability is made on the usage of this assessment model. Managers are able to understand the level of firm’s logistics capability with the assessment model that provides some guidance on how to improve logistics capability.
