Studies on the Dynamic Equilibria of the Enterprises Network Tech-structures in an Industrial Cluster Based on the Duplication Evolutionary Game Theory
As the enterprises in a local industrial cluster are different in their technology absorptive capabilities, we conclude there’re two different styles of tech-structures which are the pyramid and peer. Based on the two styled structures, duplicative evolutionary game models are established respectively, to analyze the interaction between the diffusion of tech-innovation with network externalities and the dynamic equilibria that the tech-structures of the sub-networks reach. As the result of the model, the pyramid-styled tech-structure is dynamically stable, and the gap between technology levels of enterprises on the top and the base is to get even larger. The result shows that the phenomenon called tech-polarization observed between countries also exists in the local industrial clusters, and the gap between the poles is to get lager and larger.
