The Sustainable Management Research on Combating Water Pollution in the Yellow River Basin
The water pollution in Yellow River Basin tends to be serious. The water environment becomes worse and worse, which has impacted the local social economy development and the sustainable management of the whole basin. This paper, based on the theories of global changes, riverbasin sustainable management and intergrated ecosystem management, as well as the characters and facts of riverbasin, discussed the way of realizing the sustainable management of the Yellow River Basin and pointed out its necessary to evaluate the validity of the present control system, it may be more effective to adjust the management mechanism under present system and the system design should consider its comprehensive nature and the long-term characteristic.
