Analysis of Water Price Adjusting Space of Agriculture Water Supply in the Lower Yellow River Irrigation Area (LYRIA)
Since 90s of 20th century, on the one hand, Yellow River water supply for agriculture has been becoming uptight in the LYRIA due to the continuous decrease of runoff flowing to the downstream (Huayuankou Section). On the other hand, the water conflict between demand and supply has been accelerated due to the under development of water saving agriculture which induced by so many restrictive factors such as the current management system, the collecting mechanism of water fee, water fee standard, water price level, etc. Based on investigation to the LYRIA, this paper puts forward the possible adjusting space of water price for agriculture water supply and its realization approaches via the analysis of the current water fee collection, water supply cost, water price, farmers bearing capability, etc.
