USING SMOOTHED PARTICLE HYDRODYNAMICS FOR WAVES

Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) is becoming a useful tool for examining hydrodynamic flows that are difficult to model with other existing numerical methods. This paper will describe the development of the method and some of applications to water waves, particularly for wave breaking.
