THE ANALYSES ON RECENT DYNAMIC CHANGE AND STABILITY OF WEST TAIYANG SANDS ARTIFICIAL ISLAND
Four TM diskettes from 1994 to 2002 and survey data along the fixed section along west TaiYang sands ,the section at outside waterway and Da Honggeng zi, were gathered in this thesis.The stability of Lansha Yang waterway and west Taiyang sand is analyzed.As a whole ,conclusion can be got as follows: the dynamic axes of tidal current in Lasha Yang Waterway turns south, while the west Taiyang sands keep stable. The south waterway keeps stable as a whole and is under erosion mildly. The south part of the West Taiyang sands keeps stable, while the north part of the sands is under erosion obviously in recent years. During a long historic period ,it has a good future to build an artificial island, but the north part of the sands which is under erosion should be kept watching . The dynamic change at the north part of the sands should be futher studied and measures should be carried out to keep it stale in the future.
