THE ABRASIVE WATER-JET CUTTING FOR BUOYS REMOVING IN PANYU30-1 DPP JACKET INSTALLATION PROJECT

Based on the comparison of several general subsea cutting facilities at present, and specialty of the Buoys Removing Project for Panyu30-1 DPP Jacket Installation, abrasive wate r-jet cutting f acilities was chosen to do this job. The CTS’s 5000 PSI JETCUT system is introduced and the process of removing buoys from Panyu30-1 DPP jacket is detailed in the paper. As the first executants to cut huge underwater structure, COOEC took upon itself and made a good success, which can be good experience for the following similar project.
