Process at Steel Plant of New Generation and Utilization Modes of Gases
The manufacturing process at new generation steel plant is a newly constructed process, based on existing advanced technologies and equipment and integrated innovatively with newly developed technologies, equipment and interface technique. The proposed new generation steel plant has two BFs, one steelmaking shop, two hot strip mills with a rational crude steel output of 9mil.t/a. The balance and utilization of by-product gases at new generation steel plant are studied. The results show, that at such steel plant power plants of 9 mil MW in total capacity can be built by full utilization of by- product gases for different final users at steel plant and power generation and in this case, the demands of steel plant for power can be met by itself and the function of energy conversion of steel plant can be realized.
