Application of Dynamic Soft Reduction in Slab Continuous Casting at WISCO

摘要：

On the basis of techniques of slab cold etching and chemical analysis, the effect of soft reduction parameters was investigated on slab internal quality at WISCO. The parameters were optimized and applied to full scale slab production. The slab centre segregation was greatly improved. Some technical issues on slightly heavy segregation in the routine production were also discussed in this paper.
