Dynamic Stability under Seismic Disturbance of Single-double Layer Ribbed-circled

Dynamic stability problem with seismic excitation is an important problem in the analysis and the design of single-double layer ribbed-circled spherical reticulated domes. In this paper, the authors applied ANSYS Release 10.0 Program to analyzing and researching dynamic stability performance of single double layer ribbed-circled spherical reticulated domes with seismic excitation. The authors made researches on dynamic stability characteristics and factors affecting dynamic stability of single-double layer ribbed-circled spherical reticulated domes with seismic excitation. The results indicate that the analysis and the design of dynamic stability of single-double layer ribbed-circled spherical reticulated domes are taken different earthquake actions into account and the dynamic stability capacities of single-double layer ribbed-circled spherical reticulated domes rise with the increase of the ratio of rise to span.
