Calculation on the Residual Capacity of RC Member in Bending Post High Temperature
For RC structure, bearing capacity and flexural rigidity of the structure will be reduced after high temperature. After boundary condition of member and thermal parameters of materials are determined, ANSYS software is utilized to analyze temperature field of the member after different fire duration. The equivalent cross-section economization method is given to calculate residual bearing capacity of bending member post high temperature. Here, strengthen of rebar is considered as invariant, and original area of section is regarded as reduce. The numerical solution of the calculated example and experiment result be compared, the result is matching well, so the appliance of the method is proved, and theory basis on safe monitor, repair and reinforcement of RC member post high temperature is supplied.
