Safety and Economy of RC Structure during Construction
A decision-making model on safety and economy of RC structure during construction can be built up according to engineering structural reliability theory. In order to realize the aim, first consideration is initialization construction investment that includes costs of concrete engineering, reinforcing bar engineering and formwork engineering etc. Second consideration is failure costs determined by structural designed loads, adopted reliability degree and structural construction reliability degree. Third consideration is how to calculate failure probability of RC structure during construction. Last the model is illustrated with one example.
