Dynamic Characteristic Analysis of a Large Span Maintenance Hangar in Xian
The dynamic characteristic analysis of a large span maintenance hangar in Xian is carried out in this dissertation with SAP2000. Through analysis, the first 30 modes, their corresponding periods and modal participating mass ratios at the 3 main directions are obtained. Another mode of the same hangar is established with ANSYS to confirm that the results above are accurate. Meshing columns of the hangar in SAP2000 can obtain more accurate results. The main factor which affects the differences between the results of the two methods is explained in this dissertation.
