Study of Enhanced Coagulation with Composite Potassium Permanganate Preoxidation to Treat the Micro-polluted Water from the Yellow River
The experiment employs the process of enhanced coagulation with composite potassium permanganate preoxidation. Firstly, through laboratory jar test put a certain amount of composite potassium permanganate and secondly put in powdered activated carbon and PFS respectively and stir, after put aside for several minutes; and examine the efficiency of removed turbidity, other relevant parameters of Yellow River with light polluted water by composite potassium permanganate process. The results show that permanganate preoxidation greatly enhanced coagulation of water, resulting in obvious reduction of each index. The turbidity removing rate amounted to 90. 1%, the color removing rate amounted to84.4%, clearly improving processed water quality.
