Research on Pavement Performance of Packaging Waste Polymer Composite Modified Asphalt

In this article, the recycled packaging waste polymer, replacing the ordinary modifier, is adopted to carry on the composite modification to the raw asphalt and pavement performance of the modified asphalt is researched. The results indicated that, after the modification, the asphalt mixtures the high temperature susceptibility, the low temperature anti-cracking performance, high temperature rutting resistance, water resistance as well as the fatigue resistance all enhanced respectively, which means that composite modification with the packaging waste polymer can improve the pavement performance of the asphalt. It also shows that the composite modification of raw asphalt with the packaging waste polymer is an effective way to modify asphalt, not only save the resource, but also solving the problem of white pollution caused by packaging waste polymer.
