Study on the Application of Acoustic Emission (AE) Technique in Safety Evaluation on Gold Mine
Damage fracture and acoustic emission (AE) rules of rock in the uniaxial compression are studied by means of laboratory analysis, theory analysis and numerical simulation using the granite samples got from gold mine in Shandong Province. A model of statistical damage evolution that uses acoustic emission event count as damage variable is established and it is modified by using the discrete element data simulation software PFC<2D>, the modified model is used to simulate the damage fracture and AE process of compression rock. The critical AE parameter value of rock damage in gold mine is obtained, the result shows that the value could be applied in the prediction of rock damage.
