Transition of Urban Social Space in Northeast in China

摘要：

Recent years, the domestic and overseas researchers paid more attention on urban social space, the urban social space have been became hot field of urban geography. Urban formation of Northeast old industrial base has special historical background. These cities were typical represents which take industry as main function and their urbanization development is droved by industrialization. In the process of the economic and social transformation, urban social space in Northeast show evident differentiation and prominent change. So, at new time, the research on Northeastern urban social space has important meaning.
