Vibration analysis and fault diagnosis of the fan unit and support structure
To eliminate the severe vibration of the E-GB110 Fan, the vibrations of the fan unit and the support structure were analyzed through local monitoring and finite element analysis in the paper. It was found that the synchronous vibration between the fan unit and the support system is the main reason. The rebuilding scheme was suggested based on optimization of the models. The support structure of the fan was rebuilt and the fan was overhauled. The efficiency is improved after rebuilding.
