Stability analysis of the continuous rigid frame bridge with large-span and high-pier by energy method

Based on stability theory, the calculation formulation of stability coefficient λ of high pier, cantilever casting construction and the whole bridge on the continuous rigid frame bridge with large-span and high-pier is acquired by energy method in elastic condition. Two results obtained from the calculation formulation of stability coefficient λ and software Ansys are compared, which shows that the formulation of stability coefficient λ has good precision.
