Reliability analysis for CNG storage gas pressure vessel using finite element method

The CNG storage gas pressure vessel is a special high-pressure vessel which is used to store the Compress Natural Gas. Since the pressure vessels are designed according to the conventional designing methods, we are unable to determine their safety rate or the hazard degree. Hence, the reliability analysis for CNG pressure vessels was performed. First, the CNG pressure vessel was simply introduced. Second, the reliability analysis of CNG gas pressure vessel was performed by finite element method (FEM). Third, the reliability degree of the CNG pressure vessel was discussed on the basis of finite element results.
