Improve the high rate capability of Li4Ti5O12 through ultrasonic treatment

The high rate capability of Li4Ti5O12 prepared via solid-state reaction was improved by ultrasonic treatment SEM observation showed that the agglomerate or big particle of Li4Ti5O12 was broken up after ultrasonic treatment, the dispersivity was improved greatly and the particle size was smeller. At 5C, the second discharge capacities were 155.9 mAh/g and 126.0 mAh/g for Li4Ti5O12 after and before ultrasonic treatment, being 91.6% and 84.3% of the capacity at 1.0 C respectively.
