The Analysis of an Optical Fibre Doped with InP Nano-material*

The core property of optical devices is its high nonlinearity, which will play an important role in the future optical communications. The advent of nano-technology, have paved a way for researchers to invent a novel optical fibre by combining the technologies of optical fibre and nano-technologies. In this paper, we present a manufactural method of this novel optical fibre. In addition, we conduct the propagation constant simulation of this fibre using Femlab. The effective refractive index neff= 1399 is obtained. This result is a step-stone bridge for future research of nonlinear parameter on this novel optical fiber.
