Preparation and Biocompatibility Study of Nano-hydroxyapatite Composite Materials
In order to prepare scaffold materials for tissue engineering formed by nano-hydroxyapatite, Chitosan and growth factors (nHA/CS/bFGF)and to detect characterization and biocompatibility, we firstly adopt chemical precipitation to obtain nano-hydroxyapatite which is then mixed with chitosan in various mass ratios and handled by mechanical milling. Secondly, we add both pore-making agent and dichlorobenzene with the same masses into the above material, treat it by ball-milling and pour citric acid solution in to obtain the test sample after the procedure of blending, pressure and ejection. Disinfect it and dip into basic fibroblast growth factor,(bFGF ) solution for freeze drying. Finally, we use both rotating target XRD and SEM to represent the sample composition and fractal characteristics and detect biocompatibility in accordance with ISO 16993-2002. The experimental results indicate that the sample material meets the design requirements with pores different in size and reaches the biological indicators, which shows it is suitable for tissue engineering material.
