Nano-Antimony-Doped-Tin Oxide Particles modified Polyacrylamide fibers
In this paper, Substantially transparent nano-Antimony-doped Tin oxide (ATO) particles were used instead of carbon black as conductive particles. On the basis of analysis of the advantage of traditional coating method and spinning technology, a novel dissolving-coating method was introduced and ATO-coated polycaprolactam (PA6) fibers were prepared by a new surface coating method (dissolving-coating method) that is on the basis of dissolution mechanism. A laser particle size distribution analyzer was used to analyze the size distribution of ATO. Sedimentation experiment was done to analysis the dispersion ability of ATO suspension. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmittance electron microscopy (TEM) were used for observation ATO particles In addition, The electrical conductivity, mechanical property and launderability of the ATO-coated fibers were also discussed. The results shown that ATO can instead of carbon black as conductive particles and the dissolving-coating method offers an effective and commercially relevant alternative to traditional coating method and fibers prepared with this method have characters of lower resistivity and permanent conductivity.
