A Study on the Solid-state Synthesis and Electromagnetic Properties of Polyaniline Doped with Ferrous Sulfate
The electrical and magnetic conducting polyanilines doped with ferrous sulfate were synthesized by solid-state ball-mill reaction. The optimum reaction conditions have been obtained by investigating the influence of different dynamic conditions on electrical conductivity and mass susceptibility. The resulting polyanilines were characterized by FT-IR and SEM techniques. Furthermore the room electrical conductivity, mass susceptibility and microwave absorbing electromagnetic parameters of the target product have been measured. The experimental results show that electrical conductivity and mass susceptibility of the polyanilines can be effectively regulated by changing the solid-state doping dynamic conditions. And the resulting products exhibit certain dielectric loss and magnetic loss.
