Development of Nanotechnology Industry: Investment, Market and Products
The emergence of nanotechnology and its commercialization has attracted peoples attention. Recent years, nanotechnology industry has been growing dynamically：the worldwide investment and market in nanotechnology increase rapidly, and nanotechnology-enabled products are already on the market，from ranging from antimicrobial refrigerators to nano-reformulated drugs. The present situation and trends of investment, market and products in nanotechnology industry are described in this paper. The problems that affect the development of nanotechnology industry are also discussed, such as risk assessments on nanomaterials and ethical implications of nanotechnology. Although there are several problems that needed to be solved urgently, as a whole, nanotechnology industry is in fast growing, and most people have confidence with it.
