How van der Waals force affects states of protein nanoparticles in solution
The van der Waals force of lysozyme and concanavalin A nanoparticles were investigated by atomic force microscope. The states of both lysozyme and concanavalin A nanoparticles in solution as the function of protein concentration were studied by dynamic light scattering method. The results showed that the van der Waals force of protein nanoparticles had a strong effect on their states, including the size distribution and polydispersity in solution.
